Wednesday evening Bible study we have been studying over the Ten Commandments. This week we studied on commandment two and three.
Sunday morning we had 14 people attend morning worship. We started out by taking prayer requests and then dismissed to Sunday school. The adults studied out of Matthew chapters one and two. The birth of Christ, the flight into Egypt to hide the Christ child and the baptism of Jesus by John. The children’s Sunday school learned about the birth of Moses. After Sunday school the children had their penny march and sang some special songs for the congregation. Then the congregation joined together and sang sons of praise and worship to the Lord. Bro. Scott delivered the morning message out of the book of Hebrews 10:19-25 titled “Do Not Forsake the Assembling of Worship.”
During our evening services we were blessed with 22 people attending services. We love to have new faces in the church and love to see people seeking the Lord. We had some good music for our song service portion of the evening. We also celebrated the birthday of Madalyn Barnes. Happy birthday once again, Madalyn.
Bro. Scott delivered the evening message from James 5:13-18 “Praying In Faith.”
We would like to extend an invitation to anyone seeking the Lord to come join us for services. Our service times are Sunday morning services at 11 a.m., Bible school at 10 a.m. and Sunday evening services start at 7 p.m. and our Bible study on Wednesday start at 7 p.m. May God lead and guide in all that you do!
