Wednesday night we had a good Bible study even though we were low in numbers. In past weeks we have been studying on “Christian Living” and this week we started on the Ten Commandments.
Sunday morning service we started out with prayer requests and prayed for our nation, our troops, our community, each other, our lost and undone loved ones and the sick. After prayer we dismissed to Sunday school. The children studied on David and Bathsheba and the adults finished up the book of Malachi. After Sunday school the children had their penny march and sang a couple of songs for the congregation. Then the congregation joined together in singing praises to the Lord. Bro. Scott then delivered the morning message out of the book of Philippians 1:12-30 titled “Live Your Life Totally For Christ.”
Our monthly business meeting was also held on Sunday before evening services. In the evening services we had 16 in attendance. We may be low in numbers, but we are huge in spirit. Bro. Scott delivered the evening message from the book of Colossians, 2:6-10, titled “Be Rooted In The True Word of God.”
