Church was very special Sunday morning as our guest speaker, Bro. Max Stephens, spoke about his salvation experience at Mt. Tabor. We had many prayer requests as well as praise reports.
Bro. Max read Mark 2, speaking about our spiritual needs being more important than our physical needs. We enjoyed our visitors as well.
We appreciate those who came to our church singing, sharing snacks and fellowship. Evelyn prepared cake and ice cream for those celebrating September birthdays.
Visitors with Bessie Hall recently were Jewell Elliott, Carla Wilson, and Bro. Dennis Shumate, accompanied by Lloyd and Ruth Shumate. Bessie appreciated the mushrooms.
Those visiting Harold and Kay Hutchison this week were Jeff and Kristy Tackett, Martin Hathcock, Jim and Maxine Lund, Jewell Elliott, Bill and Debbie Johnson, Dan and Kim Clements, Dylan and Morgan and Shirley Hutchison. Vic Burdan arrived from Sacramento, CA to spend a week in the Hutchison home.
Pat Lansdown took Myrl Cox to the doctor Tuesday and helped with errands as well.
Ronda and Eleazor Soto and Wes and Pat Smith visited Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock over the weekend.
Tom and Jewell Elliott visited Mr. and Mrs. Albert Elliott one evening. Jewell visited Lester and Lorene Thurman one day last week.
