Larry Eugene Williams, 66, went home to be with his Father on Oct. 5, 2010.
Larry was born Jan. 19, 1944 in Springfield, Mo., to Edward Eugene “Gene” and Gladys (Mehlberg) Williams.
Larry was a self-employed carpenter.
On Oct. 25, 1997 Larry and Del Sorensen were united in marriage in Springfield.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys, and his grandmother, Florence Ballew.
Larry is survived by his wife, Del Williams, Ava; three children and their spouses, Jill and Ryan Stafford, Tulsa, Okla., Aaron and Kelli Williams, Ava, and Christopher Williams, Tulsa, Okla.; three stepdaughters, Janelle Walker, Phoenix, Ariz., Rebekah Holland, Gilbert, Ariz., and Ashley O’Haver, Tulsa, Okla.; his father, Edward Eugene “Gene” Williams, Springfield; nine grandchildren; one brother, David Lee Williams, Springfield; special aunt, Betty Rainey, Ava; uncle, Lloyd Williams, Springfield; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Larry will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Arno Cemetery, just west of Ava. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
