The feeling of fall was in the air as we arrived at church today. Our crowd was small due to many reasons. Bro. Paul filled in for Bro. Marshall and greeted us with a big, good morning. He asked for prayer requests. There were many. We had prayer and then Bro. Paul read scripture from II John 1:4-5. We sang a song for Jesus. Our leader for Sunday school was Sister Lee. We had lots of discussion from the group. Great job.
Our morning service began with singing some good old hymns. Bro. Paul led in prayer before our specials. Sister Patsy graced us with some piano solos, what a blessing. Bro. Paul read scripture from Psalms 23. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with song and prayer and a blessing on the food we were about to enjoy. It was our Sunday for dinner and fellowship. We had lots of food, but the crowd was small. The fellowship was great.
Some of us went to Sweden for the Fourth Sunday Singing. They had a great crowd. We had lots of good singing and fellowship.
We had a small prayer circle at the evening service. We also had many prayer requests. We sang for the Lord. We had prayer and our specials. Bro. Paul read scripture from Matthew 25:31-46. It was another great message from God. We were dismissed with prayer.
We had our Fourth Saturday Night Singing and those that were there received a blessing. I know I did. Hope to see you next month, October 23 at 7 p.m.
Until next week, God bless.
