Good morning from my house to yours!
My goodness it’s cool this morning. It feels cold to my old bones.
A fire in the fireplace is tempting, but it’s not October yet, so I guess I’ll force myself and hold off. That is if nobody comes by and mentions a fire.
This past week was a sad week. Me and Roger and Levi all went to Paul’s funeral. We got to visit with David and Carl Wayne. I also said just a few words to Ruth and Darold Evans.
I also got a call that one of my real good friends had passed on in Mississippi. Barbara’s youngest son called and told me.
Not much news here this week. I had a birthday and it was going pretty well until I got the call about my friend and that just made it a really sad day. Roger came in and told me that I needed to get out of the house, so I went with him and we watched Kenny finish up the dozer work. The fields look good now.
It is time to start thinking about cutting wood for the winter.
It seems like there is something all the time.
Delmas came by and brought me a big box of sweet potatoes from Louisiana. They sure are good.
Well no news so I’ll sing off for this week.
Stay warm and say your prayers.
