Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steven Wilkerson. The subject was “Prayer of Thankfulness.” Scripture used was Psalms 116.
Saturday the Ladies Meeting was led by Linda Roberts. Following that was the memorial service for Lora Hubbard’s mom, Wanda Montgomery.
Sunday morning we had 35 in attendance. Service was opened by Norma Jones, reading Psalms 147:1-9. Linda Roberts led Sunday school class from Jeremiah 23:1-5. Special singing was by Jeff and Lora Hubbard, Gary and Bevy Moore, Don Graham and Linda Roberts. Bro. Don Graham brought the morning message from Psalms 23, “The Lord is My Shepherd.”
Sunday afternoon Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore attended a birthday party for Todd Miller, at his house, with family and friends.
Sunday evening special singing was by Emma Wilkerson, Bernie and Lena Hutchison, Linda Roberts and Bevy Moore.
Pastor Gary brought the evening message on “Commitment” from I Corinthians 15:52-58. The Holy Spirit was in our midst and we had a wonderful healing service.
Bevy Moore, Becky Carter, Margaret Rosseau and Nora Hunsaker-Williams attended their cousin. Harley Newberrry’s visitation and funeral Monday.
Visiting in the home of Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore this past week were Carl and Kay Peak, Eldon Bice, Margaret Rosseau, Wanda Andrews (Kerrville, TX.), Roy Page, Wanda Cox, Connie Holloway, Jeff and Lora Hubbard.
Special prayers goes out to the Vida Smith family, Wanda Montgomery family, Harley Newberry family, Lloyd Shumate, Frank Flemming, Becky Burton, Marvin Graham, Wayne Applequist, Nita Holt, Loretta Ellis and Gene Smith.
