Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson. The subject was continuation on prayer – The Prayer of Praise and other words used for praise and also other names for God.
Sunday morning we had 40 in attendance, including two foreign exchange students, Martina from Croatia and Berit from Germany.
Teresa Wilkerson is having a birthday this week.
Norma Jones opened the service reading Isaiah 26:1-9. Linda Roberts led the adult Sunday school class from Jeremiah 22.
Special singing was by Bevy Moore, Emma and Teresa Wilkerson and Morgan, Lena and Bernie Hutchison, Hailey and Kiah.
Pastor Gary brought the morning message on “Perfection” using scriptures from Romans 5:12, 21, Genesis 1:27 31 and I Corinthians 15:21-22.
Sunday evening special singing was by Norma Jones, Betty Hale, Wanda Cox (Reading the Names of Jesus), and Bevy Moore.
Pastor Gary brought the evening message on “What Do You Expect From The Church People” and “What The Church Is,” using scriptures from Acts 12:1-8.
Special prayer goes out to the Wanda Montgomery family, Ruby Graham, Jean Porter, Stormy Dodson, Marvin Graham, Mrs. Ronnie Hamelton, Wayne Applequist, Barbara Lee, Loretta Ellis, the military and our country.
Visiting Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore this week were Connie Holloway, Delmar and Margaret Rosseau, Nora Hunsaker-Williams, Bevy’s Aunt Wanda Andrews from Kerrville, Texas, Carl and Kay Peak, Leon and Alice Hopper, Brad and Travis Evans (We appreciate it guys!), Chad Emmerson, Jeff and Lora Hubback.
Service times are Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Wednesday Bible study at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome!
