September 22 –Wednesday evening service began with singing. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter was our leader this week. She began by taking prayer requests. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. She read Col.3, all men are equal in Christ. We are to strive to make ourselves better in the Lord, were some of her thoughts. Christ forgives us all the same if only ask.
Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports of which we have many. Sis. Tracy Shipley led in prayer. Jack read Acts 3:19-26 for devotion. Happy birthday was sung to Lorrinda Coulter, Melissa Harmon and Jordan Kinyon. God bless them. Sis. Tracy led our little ones in song. Testimonies were given by Janice Lafferty, Jeff Shipley and Charlotte Roberts.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Those singing specials were Jim Lafferty, Charlotte Roberts, Melissa Harmon, Hannah, Morgan, Gracie, Mattie and Kourtney Shipley. Pastor Bill brought the morning message from I Samuel 24:19-20 and Job 19:23-27. His thought was, I know my redeemer lives, the Messiah has come and will come again. How great it is to know this. Let’s all be ready to meet Him.
Remember Pastor Appreciation Month is October. Be sure to let him know you care. Be at church every time you think you should be.
We have tentatively set Oct. 17 for the annual hayride. Everyone welcome.

Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty, Jack Essary, Melba Austin, Charlotte Roberts and Hi Lambeth. Singing special music was Charlotte Roberts and Hi Lambeth. We had such a sweet spirit in our service while praying for our children, nation and the sick. Pastor Bill spoke from Exodus 15:22-27. After God blesses how long is it before we forget and start to doubt and complain. Pray that we would never forget what Christ has done for all that believe. Don’t let Satan turn you from the Lord.
