We’re minus a lovely, loveable, gracious, industrious, hospitable fine woman of Cabool and this entire area. Mrs. Verla Wood departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 15, but will always be remembered. Her family members conducted such an appropriate funeral service.
Her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Judy Wood, hosted a family get-to-gather Saturday evening Sept. 18. Thanks, Cuz! Your Mom would have been proud of you.
Our #1 daughter, Ruscell (she loves to be called that) spent part of the weekend here with us, and was such a good helper. Thanks, Honey! I’m just not the same gal I used to be. She even brought me six Krispy Kreme donuts.
Muggs and Peggy Ramsey attended the Cabool Freewill Baptist Church Sunday where Brian Arnold sang, played the piano (using one hand only) and participated in the morning worship. After services a tasty noon meal was served.
Congratulations to my good friend, Marcia at El Imperial Mexican Restaurant after 35 successful years of business! Daughter #1 came home sporting a brand new El Imperial tee shirt. And, let’s not forget Marcia’s birthday this Thursday, Sept. 24.
