The Norwood School Board met on Sept. 20.
The agenda was adopted and consent items approved before reports from the administrators.
Superintendent Don Forrest reported on roof repairs and possible reimbursement. Elementary Principal Dana Webb reported on professional development and attendance.
High School Principal Marcella Swatosh reported on the District Annual Performance Report and upcoming events.
The board also approved:
• Board Policy revisions;
• Hiring Leah Shipley as a cook;
• Signs to be posted outside to inform adults that smoking is only permitted in the parking lots;
• Board meetings to be held at 5 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.
The next regular board meeting will be Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. in the Norwood School Library located in the high school building.
