We began with prayer requests for our family and friends, the bereaved, the military and our church families. We had a good discussion on our Sunday school lesson. We continue to miss those unable to attend, hurry and get back.

We sang Happy Anniversary to Clifford and Imogene Madewell for their 60 years together, as well as happy birthday to Imogene last week.
This Sunday will be Brother Max Stephens speaking in the morning service.
We appreciated a great message from Sister Maxine Lund filling in for pastor last Sunday evening about prayer.
Mae Cox enjoyed calls from Thetis and Huba Pruiett, Sylvia Pinkle, Golda Dixon, Cletis Pruiett and Johnny Pruiett.
Ruby Sievert visited Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock one day last week. Sunday evening the Hathcocks attended a first birthday party at the Ava City Park for Master Weston Potter, son of Stephen and Jennifer Smith Potter, along with other relatives and friends.
Visiting with Harold and Kay Hutchison this week was Martin Hathcock, Jim and Maxine Lund and Harold’s sister, Lucille DeBerry, of Springfield.
Kay Hutchison accompanied Sister Maxine Lund to the Ladies Prayer Brunch at Oak Grove Church Saturday morning. There was a large gathering with many churches represented and Sister Maxine gave a very encouraging message on prayer.
Don and Evelyn Bryan returned home following several weeks of vacation in many states across the country, and reporting a great time, glad for a safe trip.

Those visiting different times with Tom and Jewell Elliott these past several days have been Sharyn Jones, Shaun and LeAnna Elliott and children, and James Elliott on Saturday, James and Tammy Elliott, Shaun Elliott and MaKayla and Logan, and Bessie Hall, on Monday evening. Also visiting one day was John Lumb and Andy Smith.
Saturday visitors in Ronnie and Pat Lansdown’s home were Doug and Kristie Lansdown and Jadon, Mr. and Mrs. David Guerin and daughter.
Visiting at different times with Myrl Cox was Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Miller, Paul Cox, Don Beason, Pat Lansdown and Jadon, Jeanne Cox, Norma Bogart and Chloie. Myrl had a doctor’s appointment to try to get her blood pressure under control, Tuesday.
