We had another great day with the Lord. Sunday school started with good morning from Bro. Marshall. We had prayer requests for family, friends, the lost, the sick, our church and many more. We had prayer and sang a song for Jesus. We are still studying in St. John, chapter 19. We looked back today to see how long we have been studying in St. John and we started in June of 2009. It is hard to believe it has been that long, but it has been a good time in the word. We had a lot of good discussion from the congregation. It is so nice when we all join in and take part in the lesson.
Our little angel took up the change for Coins For Christ and it was time to sing for the Lord. We had some specials and Bro. Paul read scripture from II Samuel. Then we gave us a good message from God. We closed with invitation, song and prayer.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. We had prayer and it was time to sing. It is special to sing praises for the Lord. We had some testimonies and then some specials. Bro. Paul read scripture from Jeremiah. It was another good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and a Christian handshake.
Saturday night, Sept. 25 will be our monthly singing at 7 p.m. Come bring your songs and instruments and join in the fellowship. I am sure you will receive a blessing. God bless.
