Church started Sunday morning by singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent, prayer by Sis. Vera Dixon. Sunday school lesson was, A Fast Start, A Frightening Finish, I Kings 9:4-7, I Kings 10:23 and 24 and I Kings 11:9-13.
After a good Sunday school lesson taught by Ronnie Epps, we sang several songs. Specials were performed by Lena Ingra, Elsie Atchison, Ellen Eyman, Raymond and Naida Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden prayed and then brought the message. He then read Psalms 1:1-6, II Timothy 2:15, John 8:31 and 32, II Timothy 1:12, John 13:17 and I John 2:27. After a good message we sang. We were dismissed by Sister Ellen Eyman. We ate lunch then started singing at 1:30 p.m. We had prayer by Sister Frieda Thurman. We sang several songs led by Donna Dixon, Raymond and Marvin Loftin. Prayer was given by Bro. Woodrow Coonce. Those singing specials were Marvin Loftin, Josh Strong, Doyle Turner, Raymond and Naida Haden, Lenora Burton, Peggy Potts, Frieda Thurman, Lena and Peyton Ingram, Aaliyah Irby, Elsie Atchison and Ellen Eyman. We were then dismissed.

Raymond Haden brought the message. He read Luke 14:25-35, Genesis 13:3-6, Exodus 3:7-12, Mark 1:16-22, Acts 9:10-20. We were dismissed by Bro. Raymond Haden.

Those visiting Elsie on Sunday were Robbie Allen from Arkansas, Carol and Dalton Allen, Lena and Peyton Ingram, Aaliyah Irby and Charla and Mason Heinlein.
Monday Lena Ingram took her mother to Springfield to get an M.R.I. Monday evening. Charla Heinlein visited Aunt Elsie and mowed her yard.
Charla Heinlein visited James and Janiece Moore several days last week. James and Janiece went to Springfield Thursday to get James’ glasses.
