Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson on the subject of different kinds of prayer, omniscent – all knowing, omnipresent – everywhere and omnipotent – all powerful, what God is.
Saturday the ladies had a cleaning day at the church and lunch afterwards.
Saturday Herval and Jean Porter celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Sunday morning we had 38 in attendance. Norma Jones opened the service with Romans 5:1-10.
Linda Roberts led the adult class from Jeremiah 21:8-22:7.
Special singing was by Lena Hutchison and Bevy Moore. Pastor Gary brought the morning message from Hebrews 10:23-25, “Forsake Not the Assembling.”
Our third Sunday dinner was enjoyed afterwards. Then a baptizing followed at Vera Cruz with Chantelle Emmerson getting baptized.
Special prayer goes out to Colton Emmerson, Brendan Hood, Becky Burton, Marvin Graham, Eldon Bice, Wanda Montgomery family, Nita Holt, Marie Long, Loretta Ellis, Wayne Applequist, Don Graham and Frank Flemming.
Visiting Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore this week were Connie Holloway, Brenda Hampel, Leon and Alice Hopper, Bill Bolding and Terrell Ingram. We appreciate you guys!
