Well, well we are back into the upper 80’s. Our last rain was early last Tuesday, but was nice all week.
At church Sunday we were missing our pastor Don and Becky. They were at the home of their youth visiting Becky’s father at Jerome, Idaho and Don was preaching in his home church. We were blessed with a good message from Pastor Tim. He picked up in James 4:11-12. His sermon was titled “Internal Pressure” and preached on the way we treat others. During the evening service, our youth pastor, Chris, preached on A Church That Please God.
The Cunninghams are on the road again down south and Glady is having another birthday, Sept. 21, this Tuesday and a happy birthday to you.
Marise enjoyed her friends from Brushy Knob and Macomb this Monday. Amy, Danny and Nancy came to spend the day. I was over at Marise’s for a while to visit with them. It was very good to see them again.
I visited by phone Saturday with my sister, Geneva in Oregon. Last Monday they had went to Baker City, Oregon for the Memorial Service of a good friend we grew up with in the Champion area. Raymond Eugene Hicks, Arley, Nadine and daughter, Cathy, also attended the service.
In good time and bad, our greatest need is God – Our Daily Bread.
