Bikers Against Child Abuse, or BACA, will hold its first Bike and Trike Show at the Ava City Park on Oct. 2. The local organization plans to make this an annual event.
The program will include bluegrass music, a free barbecue, and games for kids and adults.
The bike and trike show starts at 4 p.m. with trophies to be awarded at 7 o’clock. The barbecue will begin at 5 p.m., and the music around 6 o’clock.
The public is urged to come out to this event and learn what BACA is all about.
There are several local members in the organization that you will recognize when you see them. But they will not be referred to by the name you know. Each member has an alias he or she uses for their protection and for the protection of the children they help.
