Red Bud News

A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great weekend.
How about this cooler weather? Aren’t the nights wonderful for sleeping?
We are glad to have Ellis Stephens, John Paxton and Matthew Kaisersatt home from the hospital on Thursday the ninth.
We had our monthly dinner. We miss all who were unable to attend because of sickness or other things going on. It sure was a rainy day. Those who attended were Linda Suits, Loretta Brooks, Laura Powers, Carolyn and Charles Robinson, Ed Hall, Evelyn Twitty, Shirley Standfield, Euvenia Casady, Tommy Springer and Norma Jones. Our guests were Eleanor Tucker and Lloyd Huguenin.
We appreciate Connie Burris for fixing the roast and all the fixings for dinner and we also appreciate the ladies who helped to clean up after dinner.
A get-well wish to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. May you be up and at it real soon.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
Yesterday Connie Burris came and had our game day. There were seven residents that attended. What a great time we had. We appreciate Connie.
This news from the desk of Emmalyn and Ellis Stephens. We appreciate everyone for their help while Ellis was in the hospital. The man in the red car who stopped to help me will always be our angel, we appreciate it and may God’s blessings always be with you. Visitors coming to see Ellis since his return have been my sister, Vada from Aurora, Shannon, Shelby, Shaelynn, Cohen and Mali Koop, Glen and Lorene Curtis, Charlotte and Leonard Koop and Norma Jones. I, “Emmalyn” would like to give a special appreciation to Edna Frye for all her help, Norma Jones for the flower arrangements she got for Red Bud’s activity room. We have had phone calls from Ellis’s sister, Ruby from Sparta, Arlene from Illinois, his brothers, Allen from Macks Creek, Ollen from Illinois and my sister, Ruth from Billings and our children.
We send birthday wishes to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
If you have news, just let us know.
Norma Jones spent Friday and Saturday night at the farm with the girls and Jacob. I appreciate Derek and Christina for taking me out there on Friday afternoon.
Until next week, stay in good health and remember, Jesus loves you.
