Parents As Teachers “Outdoor Games”, previously planned for last Thursday, have been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30.
The program was cancelled last week because of rain.
Activities on Sept. 30 will be held on the playground behind the Parents As Teachers office.
The Douglas County Health Department will be discussing the detection and management of asthma. The University of Missouri Extension Family Nutrition program will be discussing the importance of good nutrition and staying hydrated during outdoor activities. They will also be providing a healthy snack to the children.
The program will be held 10 to 11 a.m., then again from 5 to 6 p.m.
If you are enrolled in the Parents As Teachers program or have a child age 1 to pre-kindergarten you are invited to come.
