During Wednesday night Bible study a few of us gathered for services. The lesson was over “Christian Living.”
Saturday night we were blessed to have been able to support the benefit singing for Bro. Marvin Graham and family at the Ava Assembly of God. We would like to send our appreciation to all those who helped and supported the event.
Sunday morning services we had 14 in attendance. We took time out to sing happy birthday to Anthony, whose birthday was on Sunday. We had prayer requests and then dismissed to Sunday school. The adults studied out of Zecheriah and Malachi. The children learned about the Apostle Paul. After Sunday school the children had their penny march. After the morning offering was taken up the congregation joined together and sang hymns. Bro. Scott delivered the morning message from I Samuel 1:12-15 and also from Psalms 63:1 titled “Power Your Soul Out To God.”
After services members gathered together at the Ava Park for a birthday celebration for Anthony. We had nachos and cake, and all had a great time.
Sunday night services we had 17 attend. We had prayer and sang hymns. Sis. Lena blessed us with a special song. The evening message was out of I Timothy 2:15, Proverbs 21:2 and Luke 4:4, titled “Do Not Be Ashamed Of Our Lord.” We hope everyone has a wonderful week. God bless all!
