Church started Sunday morning by singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent, prayer by Bro. James Moore. Sunday school lesson was, Solomon Building Program, I Kings 5:3,4 and 5, I Kings 6:38, I Kings 7:51 and I Kings 8:18-28 taught by Ronnie Epps.
After a good Sunday school lesson, we sang several songs. Bro. Ray Dobbs gave prayer. Specials were performed by Ivona Pierson, Elsie Atchison, Lena and Peyton Ingram, Aaliyah Irby and Raymond Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He prayed then read Rev. 21:5, 22-67, I Timothy 1:15 and 4:9, II Timothy 2:11-14 and Titus 3:8. After a good message we sang and were dismissed.
Church started Sunday night with prayer by Sister Naida Haden. We sang several songs. Specials were performed by Elsie Atchison, Lena and Peyton Ingram, Aaliyah Irby, Ivona Pierson and Raymond and Naida Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. His theme was Where Art Thou. After a good message we sang. We were dismissed by Sister Diane Strunks.
It was Birthday Celebration Night. Those celebrating birthdays were Annabelle Walker, Vera Dixon, Raymond Haden and Lena Ingram.
Charla Heinlein visited Elsie Atchison.
Those visiting Elsie Atchison on Wednesday were Lena and Peyton Ingram.
Gary Atchison visited Elsie Atchison on Thursday.
Friday visitors of Elsie Atchison were Lena and Peyton Ingram and Aaliyah Irby.
Sunday visitors of Elsie were Lena and Peyton Ingram, Bridgett and Aaliyah Irby, Shirley Atchison, Charla, Terry and Mason Heinlein and Carol and Dalton Allen.
Lena Ingram took her mother, Elsie Atchison to two doctors in Springfield and one in Ava Monday.
Sunday, Sept. 19 will be the annual singing at Friendship Church after regular morning service. We will come together singing at 1:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
Charla and Mason Heinlein and Austin and Sara Maggard visited James and Janiece Moore on Sunday.
