It was a good Sunday day for church at Seminole. Pastor Don’s message was The Study of James 4:7-10. (God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.) Evening was a dramatic live presentation, guest speaker, Steven Mosley took us on a 42 minute whirlwind tour through the Bible that’s both humorous and deeply moving.
At Seminole, it is time for revival, will you pray? It will start this Tuesday evening, Sept. 14 and run through November 16, 6-7 p.m. Come and go.

I enjoyed the write up of Glen Dale Robertson in last week’s paper. His sister, DeDe is a very good friend. I feel I can relate with this family. I am from a large family also.
I received word last Friday that Gene Hicks of Baker, Oregon, lost his long battle with cancer. His service was this Monday at Baker. I wish to send sympathy to Grace and the family in Oregon and his sisters, Ruby, Amy and Elsie of Mountain Grove.
I hear only good reports from the Champion School Reunion this past weekend. I planned to go, but became under the weather with an infection.
