Well, I am sorry but, I missed church this week and spent time at the lake, camping with family, so, I have no church information this week, but lots of other news so, here goes. The week started out with some rain, which we really needed. The rain came too late for a lot of the gardens, but seemed really nice since it cooled the air.
Visiting in the home of Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams was Amanda Mayberry.
Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Delmar and Margaret Rosseau enjoyed a delicious meal at Vern and Kathleen Deatherage’s home one day last week. Lee Williams, Nora Hunsaker, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Abbott enjoyed a meal and music with Vern and Kathleen Deatherage on Friday evening.
The annual Labor Day Picnic was held at the country home of Ike and LaVern Ashby on Sept. 6, 2010 with food, fun, visiting. The elk meat was provided by Ike Ashby, who made a trip to Idaho to hunt the elk. The elk burgers were delicious. Good job, Ike. Music was provided by Ima and the 49ers, and also Nelson Sellers, who rode his stick horse while wearing a big Sombrero. Those attending the celebration were Ike and LaVern Ashby, Clyde Sellers, Joe and Wilma Hamby, Charles and Joan Pond, Rodney and Tim Sellers, Jerry Wood, John and Brenda Larson, Lucas Bose, Sean and Stephanie Wildy, Bill Sellers, Phyllis Swofford, Gaye Lee, Loren and Delveta Haden, Darrell and Betty Haden, Mildred Watson, Earl and George Pratt, Mike, Stacie, Mahayla, and Lexi Hamby, Bob and Ingrid Sulley, Janet Sellers, Leonard and Stephanie Taylor, Jordan and Garrett Taylor, Bradley and Donna Sellers, Chester and Iris Ann Jenkins, Harold and Jo Ann Lawrence, Lowell and Kathy Thomas, Nelson and Ima Sellers, Glen Kenyon, Anette Coburn, Jerry and Karen Sellers, Eric, Becky, Mary, and Luke Sellers, Leo and Vineta Day, Kathryn Hamilton, Gary and Joyce Sellers, Betty Freeman, Gene and Dorothy Myers, Delmar and Margaret Rosseau. A good time was had by all. Clyde Sellers fell while there and we pray he is recovering nicely.
