At last we got a good rain not as much as some did. The grass is getting greener. Tony mowed the yard again. It won’t have to be mowed too many more times as frost will get it.
Those visiting me today were Cody Richards and Lisa. Cody visited with the gas man, Phillip McFarlin while he filled Cindy Frishes’ gas tank.
Tony Richards and Charley Hampton were hunting Monday. Tony said he heard something and a mother bear and her cub walked out in the open. I wish they would have had a camera and took their pictures.
Pauline Richards visited with me a while this morning. We seldom ever get to visit as school has started and she helps with the grandkids while their folks work.
I spent the last two days of the week in St. John’s Hospital. My blood pressure skyrocketed and my blood sugar bottomed out. I was very lucky not to have a heart attack or stroke. I am feeling better now.
Danny Davis, Terry Nelson and Dick Richards went to the farm auction Tuesday at Crain, MO.
Most of the seventh grade students and other students and faculty from Plainview School attended the funeral of Diana Maggard. Her daughter, Madison, attends school at Plainview.
Pauline Richards was in Ozark Thursday to have lunch with her aunts and sister, Norma Cross. Aunt Vi Tibble and Aunt Cotton Smith are not feeling well. They later went to a cousin’s home, Renee St. John.
Kelly and DeAnn Thompson and Kinsey, Kailey and Kyle spent the weekend with Scott and Missy Richards and Gerad and Kate Reeves, Josh and Luke in Cape Girardeau, MO.
