Mt. Tabor Church News – Kay Hutchison

Church began with singing a verse of “Amazing Grace”, followed by many, many, prayer requests. We have so many with needs in our church and community, the bereaved and the unsaved.
Brother Dennis preached from Galatians, about forgiveness and brotherly love.
Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. will be our Old Folk’s Day celebration. Please bring a poem, song, reading, testimony or share some story of days gone by with the group. We will have prizes and drawings, also. Church will be dismissed for the evening service.
Mae Cox’s visitors this past week were J.C. Hall, Vicky Burnett, Tim and Lindsey Hall, Lauren and Hunter and Donna Nichols.
Mae spoke by phone with Johnny, Cletis and Lavon, Silvia, as well as Josephine Peebles.
Several from the area attended funeral services and visitation for Peg Hancock in Mtn. Grove last week: J.C. Hall, Vicky Burnett, Jewell Elliott and Bessie Hall.
James and Tammy Elliott and Ashley, were hosts for a cookout at their home Sunday evening. Those present were Tom and Jewell Elliott, Shaun and LeAnna Elliott and children, Bessie Hall, J.C. Hall, Vicky Burnett, Jim and Shawna Mills and sons.
Shaun and LeAnna Elliott, MaKayla and Logan, visited Tom and Jewell Elliott Monday evening.
Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock accompanied daughter, Pat Smith and family, to church at Girdner Sunday. They drove to Mtn. Home in the afternoon to spend time with the Smith’s daughter, Jennifer and Stephen Potter, Weston and Emma, who was celebrating her birthday. Some of Stephen’s family also attended.
Jan Jones visited Martin and Mary Ann Saturday and Eleazar and Ronda Soto visited Sunday evening.
Chad and Jackie Acton, Joy Davis and Dr. and Mrs. Patrick O’neal just returned from a week long cruise to the Bahamas and other points of interest.
Ronnie and Pat Lansdown were in West Plains with their grandchildren, while their parents were at work.
Paul Cox visited Myrl Cox, Tuesday.
Visitors in the home of Harold and Kay Hutchison this week were Martin Hathcock and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lund.
