Several of us from Happy Home went to a special singing at Murray Church Saturday night. Doug Irwin and family did a great job. If you were there, you received a blessing.
Bro. Marshall opened the Sunday school at Happy Home Church this morning with a good morning to all. There were prayer requests given and a praise report. Bro. Marshall read scripture from God’s word. We had a song and prayer. Sister Alice led the Sunday school lesson. There was a lot of class discussion. You did a great job. We sang happy birthday to Sister Juanita. Our little angel gathered up the coins for Christ. It was time to sing for the Lord. We enjoy singing for the Lord all those good old hymns.
Our morning service began with Bro. Paul greeting everyone. We then had our specials. Bro. Paul read from the books of Genesis and prayed. He gave us a good message from God. We closed with a song of invitation and closed in prayer.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. It was small, but mighty. Many prayer requests were mentioned, our church, our families, the sick, the lost, and each other. We sang for the Lord and had some special. Bro. Paul read from the word and God gave him a great message for us. We closed in prayer.
We are having ice cream and cake Friday night, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. We will do some singing for Jesus after we fill up on ice cream and etc. Come join us for some good fellowship. I am sure you will get a blessing. Until next time, God bless.
