Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steven Wilkerson from II Samuel 11:1-27 and I Kings 1:15-31. The subject was about the fourth woman in the lineage of Christ, Bathsheba.
Saturday, Bevy Moore led the ladies meeting on the subject of “prayer”. We enjoyed having Betty Hesterlee and Audrey Huffman with us. Lunch was served afterwards.
Sunday morning we had 31 in attendance. Norma Jones opened the service with John 3:1-11. Linda Roberts led Sunday school class from Jeremiah 20:1-10. Special singing was by Nancy Levan, Emma Wilkerson, Norma Jones and Bevy Moore. Pastor Gary brought the morning message about “Character” from Galatians 5:22-23.
Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore had lunch with Chad and Chantelle Emmerson Sunday.
Sunday afternoon Connie Holloway, Wanda Cox and Bevy Moore went to Springfield to visit Sister Marie Long in St. John’s Hospital.
Sunday evening Emma Wilkerson led the testimony service. Special singing was by Emma Wilkerson, Naomi Stephens, Betty Hale and Don Graham.
Pastor Gary brought the evening message on “Character” part 2 continuing from Galatians 5:22-23.
Visitors in the home of Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore this week were Connie Holloway and Leon and Alice Hopper.
Prayer requests this week are for Sis. Marie Long, Wayne Applequist, Marvin Graham, James Degase, Loretta Ellis, Nita Holt, Ryan Moore and Eldon Bice.
