Leland Rex Mohr, age 80, born April 10, 1930, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospice in Tucson, Ariz. on Aug. 18, 2010.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marija Oman Mohr and his beloved pets: Jay Lee blue jay; the dog Lady, his faithful companion; and the old cat and buddy, Yoda.
His family survivors are: stepdaughter Debbie Peterson and her family; stepson Glenn J. Anderson; sister Pat Duncalf and her family; and nephews, Leland, Keith and Craig Mohr and their families.
Leland spent most of his life in Colorado. He moved from Aurora, Colo., to Rio Rico in 2003 to spend his retirement years in the warm sun of Arizona.
Services will be held on Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. at Ava Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Oren Alcorn.
