Bradleyville School Will Host CBCO Blood Drive Sept. 13

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will conduct a blood drive Monday, Sept. 13, at the Bradleyville School.

Donations will be accepted from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at the high school, located on North Highway 125. Local host for the blood drive will be the Bradleyville High School Student Council.

This week CBCO issued a Code Yellow Alert for all blood types, meaning there is less than a two-day supply of blood on hospital shelves. Your donation is needed to help replenish the supply.

It takes over 275 donations every day to meet the needs of the 37 area hospitals that use CBCO products.

To be a blood donor you must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good health at the time of the donation.

A single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people.
