The Skyline Volunteer Fire Department annual picnic will be held Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 13 and 14.
Activities start at 6 p.m. each evening at the fire station which is located just east of the junction of Highways 76 and C at the Skyline School.
Games include ring toss, dime toss, duck pond and dart throw. Other activities include cake walk, car demolition, Skyline golf, a bounce house, and a silent auction.
There will be a concession stand and lots of free prizes will be given away throughout the evening.
As usual, there will be plenty of bluegrass and gospel music. Bands include Green Mountain Messengers, Backyard Bluegrass, Faithful, Big Creek, Hunter Creek, and David Richardson/Erin Akers.
This is an annual fundraiser for the fire department and proceeds are used to buy equipment.
