The Ava Bear Booster Club hosted the 3rd annual two-person scramble golf tournament on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Ava Country Club. Thirty eight teams were entered for play; the following is a list of winners by flight:

Please join us for the Bear Booster Membership drive and the high school sports scrimmages on Friday, Aug. 13, beginning with volleyball in the high school gym at 4 p.m.
The events will conclude at the football field at 7 p.m. where a meal of pulled pork, hamburgers and hotdogs will be served to the athletes, coaches and Booster Club members.
The community is urged to attend.
