WASHINGTON D.C. – Being named a scholarship winner once was a tremendous honor for Trampas Posey, of Ava.
Now, the Imagine America Foundation (IAF) is honoring Posey again with a Promise scholarship.
Posey attends Universal Technical Institute in Avondale, Ariz., and is enrolled in the Motorcycle program.
Honorees are previous recipients of the Imagine America high school scholarship who have maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average and at least a 95 percent attendance record while attending an Imagine America participating career college.
“Trampas took the financial assistance we initially provided and did something fantastic,” said Robert L. Martin, president of IAF. “This is the type of student we have in mind when we talk about helping the next generation of leaders meet their career goals. That’s what the Imagine America Foundation is all about.”
Imagine America Promise scholarships are sponsored by Nelnet, Inc. and by contributors to the 21st Century Workforce Fund.
