Jordan Lee (Huff) Taylor, 17, was born Dec. 4, 1992, in Kansas City, and departed this life July 12, 2010 near Ava, Mo.
Jordan enjoyed the outdoors, and times spent deer hunting with his Grandpa Mike were special. He loved to swim in the creek on hot days. He loved going on trail rides and horseback riding. He was a very likeable young man who had many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherry Huff; his Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Gabe.
Jordan is survived by his mother Melissa Thayer; his father, David Taylor; and his grandfather, Mike Huff. He is also survived by two half sisters, Lacy Diel and Makayla Diel; and one half brother, Dominic Thayer. Also surviving are great-grandparents: Jr. and Marie Huff and Opal Taylor. A host of other relatives and friends will miss him deeply.
Memorial services were conducted Friday, July 16, in the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Ava. A visitation was hosted Thursday, July 15, in the Ava Family Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements were under the direction and care of the Ava Family Funeral Home.
