Ever Thought Of Becoming an EMT? Class Starts Sept. 9

Have you every thought about becoming an EMT? If so, the Ava/Douglas County EMA Office will be holding the next EMT class starting Sept. 9.
The cost of the class is $750, which includes: book, shirt, insurance, ID badge, one practical test, and one NREMT test.
The office has just completed work with the Veterans Education and Training Section of DESE. If you are qualified for the GI Bill contact the EMA office for information.
The classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. Any questions contact Ron or Teresa at 683-3315. Applications are due back into the EMA Office by Aug. 27. You can pick up applications at the EMA Office or Douglas County Clerk’s Office at the courthouse. Classes will be held at the Little/Tost Training Center at 307 S.E. 2nd Ave. in Ava.
