On Monday July 28, inmates from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were taken to the fairgrounds to clean up after the fair. Sheriff Chris Degase brought in additional personnel to guard the inmates as they were picking up trash. Degase said it took the inmates approximately 2 hours to pick up the entire fairgrounds area.
