The Ava Bear Booster Club will host a 2-person scramble golf tournament on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Ava Country Club.
To sign up for the tournament, contact Bryan Irby, 683-6636 or 683-8566; or Brad Clevenhagen, 683-0537. The cost is $80 per team, or any donation will be welcome.
The Booster Club also announces that the preseason scrimmages for football, volleyball and softball will be held on Friday evening, Aug. 13. Watch the Herald for more information on this preseason fall kick-off event.
