More Than 70 Attend Adams Reunion

The Adams reunion was once again a huge success thanks to so many pitching in to help. We had over 70 family and friends in attendance.

The day started at 10 a.m. As people gathered in, we were setting up for lunch and visiting.

It was good to see each new face as they came through the door. Everyone was sharing old memories and starting some new ones.

Some family members had never met some of the younger generation; the kids are always so much fun.

We had a big age group from the age of 88 down to 14 days old.

We had family from California and all the way to Florida. Our Adams family takes in the whole U.S.A.

Miss Ruby, Alice and other ladies helped set up tables for lunch. The tables were full of all kinds of food from blackberry and strawberry/rhubarb cobbler to ham and chicken and all the food in between, including fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden.

After lunch we played games, sang songs, Willene read a good poem. Stan even used a hula hoop…and of course took lots of pictures.

We had family representatives from Charley, Herman, and Hershel’s families. I won’t try to mention everyone by name for fear I’ll leave out someone’s name.

Red Bank Church and everyone involved made this reunion a great success and we really missed those of you not present.

See you all again in two years, in 2012.
