The descendents of Eruna and Malinda (Keller) Cooley met July 26, at First Freewill Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove.
A delicious potluck lunch was served followed by a drawing for door prizes and the annual auction.
The auction was enhanced greatly this year with beautiful handmade items donated by Betty Thomas. Connie Hicks outdid herself with a patriotic wall hanging and table runner. The cousins, Darrell and Tom Cooley along with Jack Burchell donated their ever popular birdhouses. Stan Cooley generously provided a family heirloom, which went home with Dale Thomas. Our Auctioneer this year was Jerry Pinkerton. In addition, we are grateful to Greta Cope and Laine Sutherland who always provide for the children.
Our music this year was provided by J.R. Johnston, Herb Johnston, Darrell Cooley, Max Cooley and Jim Berry with Wayne Hopper singing with Max. Many thanks to all for an enjoyable program.
