Ava Victory Academy students recently competed in the South-Central ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) competition at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
The academy competed with students from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Missouri, and were very happy to place first in Algebra 2 and second in Pre-Calculus, both in the small school division.
In this division, sophomores Nike Walker received first place, McKenzie Matlock received second place, and Kan Saso received third place in Algebra 2.
Senior Jason Jakusz and junior Tyler LeClear tied for first place in Pre-Calculus and senior Liz Moffett received third place.
