“Yes, you can make a difference”, is the theme of this year’s Property Rights Conference being held for the 10th consecutive year this Saturday, July 17, in Cabool.
Sponsored by the Ozarks Property Rights Congress, the all-day conference will bring together property owners from all across Missouri and adjoining states to share information pertaining to preserving their private property rights.
“This year our speakers are going to show how individuals and small dedicated groups can influence the laws and regulations directed at controlling the use of private and public land.” said PRC chairman Russell Wood.”
“We’re going to hear about watershed control, home grown food restrictions, eminent domain, green house emissions and other pertinent topics,” Wood said.
He added that in view of this year’s August primary election, candidates for contested state and federal offices have been invited to meet with the group to share their views and answer questions.
Guest speakers will include Doreen Hannes, Ron Calzone, Paul Hamby and Ray Cunio starting at 9 a.m. at the Cinema II Theatre on Highway 181 just south of Highway 60 bypass at Cabool.
Free coffee and doughnuts will be served before the meeting.
Admission is free and open to all who are interested in preserving private property rights, Wood said.
