Today’s edition of the Douglas County Herald offers a special political section which provides an overview of the local Douglas County candidates competing for a winning position in the Primary Election Tuesday, Aug. 3.
The section highlights county candidates vying for the following offices: presiding commissioner, clerk of the circuit court, recorder of deeds, county treasurer, and prosecuting attorney.
In the overview, candidates are presented in filing order and as they will appear on the ballot.
All local candidates were given the opportunity to participate.
