Drury University Confers Degrees to 351 Graduates

SPRINGFIELD – During spring commencement May 15, in Weiser Gymnasium, Drury University awarded 351 degrees during the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies graduation. 303 students received undergraduate degrees while 48 earned master’s degrees.

The new dean of Drury’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies, Dr. Brian Holloway, sent the graduates off with a message about what he called “the gospel of self-improvement.”

“Use the lessons you’ve learned, never give up,” Holloway said. “Be a beacon, be a shining light for the gospel of self-improvement and spread that light throughout the land.”
