Robert L. Thieman, 60, of Ava was found guilty of several charges in a jury trial this week.
Thieman was convicted of first degree assault, armed criminal action and shooting a firearm at or from a vehicle or shooting at a person, motor vehicle or building.
The charges stem from an incident in July of 2005.
The jury deliberated one hour before reaching a verdict.
Theiman was represented by attorney Linda McKinney of Ava,
He will be sentenced in Douglas County Circuit Court on Sept. 7.
