It’s been many months in the making, and has taken a great deal of time, but we now have the Douglas County Herald website back online today (Thursday) at 5 p.m.
Our new look is still a work in progress; however, the site is now a platform from which we will be launching new online presentations and offerings, and many of these items will be added quickly over the next few months.
The road to this new site has been a long journey, and we thank you for your patience. Please visit www.douglascountyherald.com, we welcome your comments and input as we continue to grow.

You have been missed! Jeff and I have been professional drivers for 19 years. Thanks to technology, we are able to carry our laptop around the country with us while getting online daily. We used to look forward to going to your website to keep up on what was happening at home.
After many months of anticipating the new site, we will be visiting it all the time.
Looks GREAT by-the-way.

Great to see the Herald back on line. I enjoy staying abreast of the news and neighbors even though I no longer live in Douglas County. The site looks great. Thanks again.

Gosh, I’ve waited a long time… Its good to have you back online! It’ll take awhile to get used to your new format but I think I like it! Thank you for making your news available to all of us who live far from “home”.
