Voter Registration Deadline Is Next Wednesday
County Clerk Karry Davis said absentee ballots are now available for the August primary election. Anyone needing to vote an absentee ballot may contact the County Clerk’s Office.
Davis also said next Wednesday, July 7, is the last day a person may register to vote and be eligible to vote in the Aug. 3 primary election.
If you have never registered to vote, are a new resident of Douglas County, or have changed your residential address since registering to vote, you should contact the County Clerk’s Office before next Wednesday if you want to vote in the primary election in August.
If you have changed your name, such as through marriage, you should also contact the County Clerk’s Office and make that change on your voter registration.
