Former Missouri Governor Funeral arrangements have been finalized for former Missouri Governor Warren Eastman Hearnes, who died Sunday night at age 86.
The body was to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, with state funeral service with military honors at 2 p.m. in the Rotunda.
The body would then be returned to Governor Hearnes’ southeast Missouri hometown of Charleston for a visitation from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. today (Thursday) at First Baptist Church, Charleston.
The Charleston funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the Hearnes family has requested memorial donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 301 South Main Street, Charleston, Mo. 63834.
Arrangements are by McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
