A man who loved his wife and family Donald E. Brown entered this life on Aug. 15, 1934, the first son of Hattie (Robinson) and Vador Brown in Dexter, Mo. On Dec. 10, 1951, he married Cleo Shaffer. Don had made his profession of faith in Christ and was baptized at Tyler Street Baptist Church in Twin Falls, Idaho. He departed on Aug. 9, 2009, at his home in Marshfield, Mo.
Don will be remembered as a man who loved his wife and family.
Donald is survived by his wife, Cleo; four daughters and three sons-in-law. Other loved ones include 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and mother, Hattie Bennett, and brother, Roy Brown of Twin Falls Idaho, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Little Creek Church, Highway F and Alva Road, Hartville, Mo., at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 13).
