A resident of the Ava community since 2005 Barbara Lea Waskosky, 67, passed to heaven on July 23, 2009 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava.
Barbara was born Sept. 28, 1941 in Springfield, to Walter and Ruth (Ridenour) Waskosky. She was a resident of the Ava community since 2005 moving from Springfield where she was a member of Hamlin Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her cousins, Charlotte Bock, Ava, and family, Myron Bruffett and family, Dwight Bruffet and family, Evelyn Taylor and family, George and Joe Robertson and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, with the Revs. Calvin Maberry and Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating.
