Gary served in ministries in Missouri, Michigan and Arkansas Gary Lee Epps, 66, of Theodosia, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009.
Gary was born July 21, 1942, in Runnells, Iowa, to Lawrence P. and Edith Wood Epps. Gary retired from full-time ministry with Community of Christ, having served in ministries in Missouri, Michigan and Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol; daughter Cheryl (Steven) Brison, of Independence; son, Brian (Heidi) Epps, of Lee’s Summit; grandsons Gareth Brison, Logan Epps and Jason Epps; brothers Larry Epps, of Ankeny, Iowa, and Jerry (Beverly) Epps, of Marietta, Ga.; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Community of Christ in Mountain Home, Ark.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence. Cremation and services were under direction of Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence.
