Born Oct. 19, 1946 in Ava, to James and Agnus Hitchcock, Sr. James Frederick Hitchcock, Jr., 62, passed to heaven on June 5, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. Fred was born Oct. 19, 1946 in Ava, to James and Agnus (Brown) Hitchcock, Sr.
On March 8, 1994 Fred and Vicki Crim were united in marriage at Springfield. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles and one sister, Ruth.
Fred is survived by his wife, Vicki Hitchcock, Buffalo; three children, James Frederick Hitchcock III, Long Lane, Tonya Keithley, Springfield, and Ronnie Fellers, Springfield; six brothers, Tommy, Johnny, Howard, Roy, Archie and Sherman Hitchcock; seven sisters, Shirley, Judy, Nancy, Dolly, Darlene, Viola and Emily; and numerous stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were Wednesday, June 10, at 11 a.m. at the Murray Church, Squires, with burial in the Murray Cemetery. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
